China is the Key Hub of Global Supply Chain
Jensen Huang first emphasized that China has the world's largest, most complex, and most diverse supply chain, not only producing but also manufacturing chassis, control systems, and components, playing a key role in the global supply chain. Jensen Huang then recalled that 30 years ago when he came to China, there were only Lenovo and Great Wall Computer. Now, his partners include Alibaba, Meituan, Tencent, Xiaomi, and BYD. He said the Chinese market is unique, with the world's most engineers, computer scientists, and largest consumer population. The consequences of not participating in the Chinese market are hard to predict but likely not good.
He then directly praised Huawei as an "extremely innovative, large-scale, and technologically profound" enterprise, impressive in mobile phones, autonomous driving, and AI technologies. He stated that if Nvidia does not enter the Chinese market, Huawei and other Chinese chip companies, cloud service providers, and startups will provide services.
