LIBRA project consultant Hayden Davis first acknowledged LIBRA as a Meme token

According to Clarín, an Argentine media outlet, Hayden Davis, a consultant for the LIBRA project, submitted documents to a US court, for the first time acknowledging LIBRA as a meme token and denying it as an investment project with a business plan. This contradicts President Javier Milei's previous claims that it would "help the Argentine economy". The case involves approximately $280 million in frozen assets, and the New York court will hold a hearing on August 19 to examine whether Hayden Davis and his partners manipulated LIBRA and profited from it. Previously, during a meeting with President Javier Milei at the presidential palace on January 30 this year, Davis's associated wallet transferred nearly 500,000 USDC to Kraken, which is suspected to be related to project fund movements.
