It seems that with the overall market recovery and the booming global financial markets, the market is pricing in Bitcoin's volatility lower and lower. I estimate that, barring unexpected factors like black swan events, Bitcoin's annual volatility will be unlikely to exceed 30% from now on.

In other words, it is unlikely that you can buy cheap Bitcoin at the buy the dips of an "extreme bear market". Similarly, it is unlikely that you can achieve a leap in asset size simply by buying Bitcoin and holding the currency.
